About the Course
A DSP panel is a handheld control unit used on CNC router machines to directly control the machine's basic movements and the machining process. It allows the CNC machine to operate without a constant connection to a computer, enabling the operator to perform tasks quickly.
Using the DSP panel, the X, Y, and Z axes can be moved manually, the work zero point can be defined, reference points can be set, and saved job files can be executed. G-code files can be transferred to the panel via a USB flash drive or other supported data transfer methods, allowing machining to begin immediately.
The control panel also facilitates the management of feed rates, spindle control, working positions, and basic machine settings. Operators can monitor the machine's movements during operation and, when necessary, pause, resume, or manually intervene in the process.
